About

I am an award-winning, exhibited, and published photographer, and I am also an educator based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I first got into photography during my mid-teens shooting with my parents' Yashica camera. From there, photography turned from being a hobby into a passion.

I specialize in portraits - studio and environmental portraits, lifestyle and fine art photography. I take inspiration from the old masters such as Edward and Brett Weston, Minor White, Irving Penn, and Arnold Newman, to name a few. I also take inspiration from the environment I’m in and from the people and cultures I encounter.

I teach various classes and workshops in photography, lighting, printing and Adobe Lightroom™.
